Chapter 13 BankruptcyA chapter 13 case is frequently referred to as a wage earner's plan. In a chapter 13 case, the debtor promoses a plan of reorganiztion which payments are made to a chapter 13 trustee. The chapter 13 trustee collects the payments and makes distriutions to the debtor's creditors as per the chapter 13 plan. Once the plan is completed, the objective is to get a discharge order. |
